WHAT IS Google Translate?

Google Translate is a third-party service that performs all live and dynamic online translations. By detecting patterns of documents that have been translated by human translators, Google Translate is able to create appropriate translations. The process of finding patterns in a large amount of text is called "statistical machine translation". 

Since translations are machine generated, not all translations are accurate. The more human-translated documents that Google Translate can analyze in a particular language, the better the translation quality. This causes the accuracy of the translation to differ between languages.
