This has resulted in higher demand of manpower in multimedia. Jobs which require multimedia skills are information technology, education and training, publishing and printing, entertainment and many more. Multimedia graduates are needed in administrative management such as designing interactive presentations, brochures and web page.
Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Ipoh is offering this programme based on the fact that multimedia is becoming more advanced and multimedia experts are highly demanded. This is a full time programme which is conducted in a minimum duration of 6 semesters. The curriculum is designed suitable to the present industrial needs which emphasize on hands-on practice to enable students to better master multimedia skills.

Minimum Requirement :
i. Possesses SPM with at least credit in THREE (3) subjects OR
ii. Possesses SKM Level 3 / Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM); OR
iii. A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in relevant filed with at least CGPA of 2.00; OR
iv. A pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject; OR
v. A pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least Grade Maqbul; OR
vi. Other equivalent qualification that is recognized by the Malaysian Government
AND
Pass an interview (online/virtual/conventional).
OR submission of student's portfolio, to be determined by the HEP as required.
