PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION:
Graduates of this programme will be Computer Scientistsm with specialised skills suiting the particularly for the identified industries. Good graduates will equipped to engage in research to take up higher degree study. The skills are also applicable to a wider range of industries and end destinations. The skills in logical thinking, problem solving and the mix of an employability-focused subjects together with the combination of a structured pathway will equip graduates for a specialist career in many roles in business or industry but specific job opportunieis for graduates exist in a wide variety of roles from the particular and “traditional” ones in analysis and programmeming, software development, database administrators, internet applications developers, product/network support to new roles in emerging industries such as entertainment, communications and education.
