Education Financing Opportunities in KPTM Through Bank Rakyat Education Financing-I

KUALA LUMPUR|  9 JULY 2018 | EDUCATION FINANCING OPPORTUNITIES IN KPTM THROUGH BANK RAKYAT EDUCATION FINANCING-I

Kolej Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bank Rakyat today to provide students’ education financing opportunities in KPTM through Bank Rakyat Education Financing-i.

According to YBhg. Mr. Nordin bin Ahmad, KPTM's Chief Executive Officer, through this strategic partnership, eligible students can apply for Education Financing-i for the financing up to RM1 Million with the financing period until 20 years at the competitive profit rate.

Mr. Nordin explained that it is to assist the students to continue their studies to a higher level with the education loans while it can put their family burden at ease.

"This education financing is a loan facility provided by KPTM as well as MARA and PTPTN loans to cover the cost of studying to students enrolling in KPTM".

KPTM offers this education financing to the students who enroll in the programs offered by KPTM in a few education fields like Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Science, Social Science, Accounting, Business Management, Engineering, Humanities and Bio-Industry.

The qualification rules for applying this education financing are Malaysian citizens aged 18 years or above and not exceeding 60 years at the end of the financing period. Besides, applicants or family members of the applicant must have a minimum monthly income of RM2,000.

Through this strategic partnership, this is also had proven that KPTM is one of the IPTS that offers the quality education loans, also becomes the guideline to the students and parents to choose KPTM as the best learning destination.

This MoU had been signed by KPTM Chief Executive Officer, with the Bank Rakyat Chief Operating Officer (Business), Dato’ Amirudin Abdul Halim. Other than KPTM, this collaboration also involved Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Akati Consulting (M) Sdn Bhd, and Admal Aviation College.
