KPTM’s Corporate Social Responsibility, Sponsors 50 New Rural Students and Parliament of Jerantut Sponsors Free Registration Fees

The Bumiputera Education Tour (JPB) launched by YAB Prime Minister has recently traveled to the eleventh location, which is at Jerantut, Pahang.

KPTM is one of the Strategic Partner of JPB 2018 where KPTM has participated in all locations in this tour series. A total of 32 locations have been selected in carrying out the search mission, identifying and assisting the Bumiputera community to further their studies at the Higher Education Institutions that involved together.

In this JPB program, KPTM handles some promotional booths to provide direct information about the studies offered by KPTM.

The eleventh location, Jerantut, was placed at the Jerantut District Council Hall and was officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Tengku Kamarul Zaman Ibni Almarhum Sultan Sir Abu Bakar, c/o Commander of the First Battalion 505 AW Mechanized.

KPTM is always proactive in providing education to the children of the nation. Hence, through JPB this time, YB. Dato' Haji Ahmad Nazlan Bin Idris, Chairman of KPTM declared a free registration fee to all Jerantut children as an opportunity offered by the Jerantut MP himself to sponsor the registration fee of RM250.

In addition, through JPB 2018, KPTM through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program KPTM Sehati Sejiwa offers free registration to the earliest 50 applicants who register at KPTM at its branch campuses nationwide with eligible requirements such as excellent examination results, and live in rural areas as well as family income from B40 group.

JPB 2018 targets 200,000 Bumiputera Malay students of SPM and STPM leavers for the year 2013-2017 who dropped out nationwide covered with 23 main locations and 84 parliaments throughout the country from 24 March - 1 May 2018.
